WG 3: ICT Applications, Consumer Protection Issues and Cybersecurity, Meeting & Training

The WG3 on Consumer Issues, Quality of Service & Cybersecurity Physical Meeting & Training on Strengthening Communication Mechanisms among National CERTs/CIRTs in the East

African Region will take place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from 2nd-6th March 2026.

The East African Communications Organization (EACO) is a regional organization that brings together national ICT regulators, operators, services providers (in the telecommunication, broadcasting and postal sub-sectors) ICT training institutions and other stakeholders in the communication sector within Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda. The broad objective of EACO which was established in 2000 is to strengthen and promote cooperation among the seven EAC Countries in the development and provision of postal, telecommunication and broadcasting services in East Africa and Headquartered in Kigali, Rwanda.
