EACO Advisory Council
The EACO Advisory Council shall comprise of Members and Partners and meets every two years. It serves as a strategic forum through which the broader EACO community engages with the governance and direction of the Organisation. The Advisory Council is a forum to receive and adopt reports from the Assemblies — the Regulatory Assembly, Operators Assembly, and Postal Assembly — and to generate recommendations therefrom to be forwarded to the Board for consideration and approval. The Board remains responsible for the direction of the affairs of the Organisation in between meetings, ensuring continuity of leadership and strategic implementation across the East African region.
